Join our team and run, jog, or walk at the Eugene Marathon to benefit Community Supported Shelters!
Not a runner but still want to help? You can sponsor a runner!
Join Our Team
Support your unhoused neighbors and participate in the Eugene Marathon! Instead of paying a registration fee, you commit to fundraising the amount listed below, and will be given a code to register for the race on the CSS team once the goal has been met. Through Eugene Marathon’s Run for a Reason program, the funds you raise will be donated to CSS.

Step 1
Decide if you would like to participate in the 5K, Half, or Full Marathon. Complete the form below to let us know you've decided to join the team.
The registration deadline is April 15.

Step 2
Raise money for CSS by having your friends and family donate, in your name,
here! If you'd like to get the word out on social media, we recommend setting up a campaign with
Give Lively or
Facebook Fundraiser. The deadline for the minimum payment (below) is April 20, but you can keep fundraising until May 4.
Full Marathon– $160
Half Marathon – $135
5K – $75

Step 3
Once you pay the fee or fully fundraise for your fee, you'll be emailed a code to register for the race for FREE. And you'll get a free CSS t-shirt to wear on the day of the race! Note: T-shirts are only available for those who register before April 11.
(Allow up to two days for us to get back to you with the code.)
Registration for new runners is now closed. Thanks for your interest! If you have already registered, the deadline to send minimum payment is April 20 (but you can continue fundraising until May 4).
Sponsor a Runner
Not a runner but interested in supporting our cause? You can partially or fully sponsor a friend, family member, CSS client, or CSS staff member to run on our team! No amount is too small, and all donations are tax-deductible. If you'd like to sponsor a specific runner, make sure to include their name with the donation:
About CSS
Established in 2013, Community Supported Shelters (CSS) is a nonprofit located in Eugene, Oregon, that transforms lives by providing shelter, safety, and support for unhoused individuals. If you're a local, you've probably seen our (frankly amazing) Conestoga Hut shelters around town!
This is our first year participating in the Eugene Marathon!! We'll have a booth at the Health & Wellness Expo (a.k.a. 5th Street Alley Marketplace) during the race weekend. Feel free to stop by, step inside a Conestoga Hut, and learn more about what we do:
Friday, April 25: 1 pm-6 pm
Saturday, April 26: 10 am-6 pm
